Vanity Circus is a design company that caters to businesses and individual clients in the mediums of fashion, photography, and graphic design. It mainly deals with fashion houses, publications, and advertising firms but gladly takes on any clients in need of creative services. The company is broken down into three general areas of expertise (fashion, photography, and graphic design). Within each area, Vanity Circus offers an array of services which gives the company its versatility and competitive edge.
Vanity Circus was created by artist and fashion designer Mario Cadenas as a creative outlet for his love of general design. Well rounded in the fashion industry, he states, “Although I am formerly trained in the field of fashion, I am an overall artist of many skills and interests. Besides making people look and feel beautiful, I also enjoy producing great imagery. Whether it is in the form of a garment, photograph, digital graphic, mixed media, or the traditional oil on canvas, I posses a diverse and chameleon-like quality, which I personally feel is my strongest suit. I tend to draw inspiration from an endless source of pop cultural references which allows me to mold my creativity to the need of the client. “
The foremost priorities of Vanity Circus are to meet the needs of the client and to assure them customer satisfaction. The company initiates a creative dialog with the client to better understand their product, its need, and its place in its respective market. Research is then conducted to see what current competitors are doing. Several ideas regarding artistic direction are then proposed. Based on customer feedback, the projects are then developed and executed. Vanity Circus’s goal is to create original designs work cohesive to the clients’ product and translatable to their target customer.
